who we are

elefkon is a contemporary multidisciplinary design studio based in Thessaloniki, Greece, working across architecture, interior design and branding. Founded in 2017 by Eleftheria Porfyriadi and Konstantinos Tzerni, the studio was built on a shared vision: to create spaces and identities with clear functionality, strong aesthetics and a meaningful connection to the people who use them.

We approach each project holistically, from concept development to final implementation, combining architectural design, interior design, brand strategy and product design. Our process is grounded in understanding the specific needs of each project, coordinating all involved collaborators, and ensuring consistency between the initial concept and the final result.

Alongside our core practice, we have developed an experimental creative practice focused on ceramics and material research. This hands-on experience informs the way we think about space, detail and construction, strengthening our relationship with materials and the making process.

  • Engineering services: building permits, small-scale permits, legalization of unauthorized constructions, technical project support
  • Architectural design: residential projects, commercial spaces, hospitality architecture
  • Interior design: concept development, detailed design, materials, lighting and custom-made elements
  • Branding & product design: brand identities, spatial branding, object and product design
  • Workshops: hands-on workshops focused on materials, ceramics and design thinking
  • Workspace rental: flexible use of the studio for creatives and remote workers

Eleftheria Porfyriadi

Architect Engineer (AUTH) · Interior Designer

Eleftheria Porfyriadi is an architect engineer specializing in interior design and photorealistic visualization. At elefkon, she is responsible for the overall management of projects, from the initial concept to final execution, with a strong focus on coordination, clarity of design documentation and consistency between concept and outcome.

Her work is defined by structured thinking, attention to detail and a balanced relationship between functionality and aesthetics. She approaches design with a research-driven mindset and a deep interest in how spaces influence behavior and everyday experience.

 

Konstantinos Tzerni

Interior & Product Designer · Artist

Konstantinos Tzerni works across interior and product design, with a multidisciplinary background. Holding a Master’s degree in Strategic Product Design, a degree in Interior Design and studies in special education, he develops projects that combine accessibility, aesthetics and innovation.

Analytical and communicative by nature, he believes in collaboration and continuous research. He has hands-on experience in construction supervision and in-depth knowledge of the building process, with active involvement on site. With a particular interest in prototyping, DIY construction and sustainability, he explores alternative design solutions beyond conventional frameworks.

Persa is the four-legged member of our team and a daily presence at the studio. Friendly and always around, she is part of our identity and studio culture — a reminder that good design starts from a human and welcoming environment.
